What's Your Zodiac Sign? For LTN it's AQUARIUS

Today progressive metalcore rockers Less Than None dropped their single Aquarius, harkening back to their emotionally charged vibes from earlier pieces such as Jumper Down.

The track takes on a slower pace, only to break into one of the fiercest anthems seen to date from the group.

From singler Carlos Hiciano:

"Aquarius is about someone you love having a hold on you.

The Aquarius zodiac is depicted by a woman bearing a container of water. This song isn’t about the woman but rather about self reflection. in losing a relationship, we can find ourselves as the container of water being spilled. But also,Water can symbolize emotions. Sometimes we can feel so strongly about someone that our container would over flow.

This song tackles the question of why we spill our water (our emotions). Do we do this because we feel too much, or are we trying to get rid of it because we’re scared of our emotions.

This upcoming EP is all about identity, self reflection, and growth. It’s about shedding your former self for something new. growth is a painful process and sometimes we have to let go of people we love to move on and become the people we’re meant to be."

Bronx NYC progressive metal outfit Less Than None have released their latest single “Aware“ on all major streaming platforms today!  The song is about being present in the moment and surrendering your attachments into the conscious awareness of now in hopes to trigger a spiritual awakening.

From Carlos (Vocals):

“Aware was a very challenging song to write for me. I would argue it is my most spiritual song,” explains vocalist Carlos. ” Aware is about connecting with your high self through self-awareness. It’s about the differences between ego and the self. You are not our thoughts, you are just the observer of them.“

Music from the upcoming EP was recorded at Backroom Studios in New Jersey and mixed/mastered by Kevin Antreassian (Dillinger Escape Plan). The EP documents a period of growth for the band:

“If our HANDS ON FIRE EP was our caterpillar phase, then our upcoming EP is our cocoon phase,” explains the band. “We’re in the midst of re-discovering ourselves musically and thematically post-COVID times. Shedding who we once were, and preparing for something greater. Our mission is to continue releasing new and exciting music that impacts everyone, from our closest friends to strangers around the world. Join us as we create a musical escape for audiences to enjoy!“

Fresh off the laurels of their last single "Playa", Montreal rockers Horse Doctor have released their newest single "Sinking" on all streaming services!

The frantic energy of melodic, yet dissonant guitars are guided by the exquisite vocals we've all come to expect from vocalist/guitarist Jake Ward, invoking killer moods akin to seminal post-hardcore/post-rock acts such as The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In, or The Fall Of Troy among many others.

Staccato guitar/bass rhythms are backed by huge, resonating drum percussion throughout the track, with a slower moment to ease us into the explosive blows of the last parts of the track.

Horse Doctor are clearly "...full steam ahead..." towards leaving their legacy in the modern post-punk/post-hardcore landscape; not showing any signs of "sinking" any time soon!

Fresh off the traction of their recent single and upcoming album title track "High Risk", the band Fairshake have released their newest single "Another Round", crafting angsty post-grunge/emo/punk messaging within the confines of this 4:31 emotional roller coaster of a track.

Comprised of core members Tucker Harding (guitar, vocals) Shayne Goss (guitar, vocals) and produced in conjunction with  Jeremy Nichols and Ben Cato, the band present a great sound reminiscent of post-grunge acts like Garbage, Hole, or The Donnas among other semblances.

“...Another Round is a song of comfort in the realization that you do not have to be a victim and can take your power back...." - Shayne Goss

Check out this powerful song, and its accompanying music visualizer below from Fairshake!

The full-length album High Risk is slated for release in its entirety in April.

The experimental alt pop/punk/post-hardcore group Audio Decoy today released the latest single "Never Wanted To Lose". Written from the perspective of how it can be hard it can be to move past the sunken cost fallacy in relationships, the song's chorus inevitably resonates with lines such as "angles and shadows can't obscure the reasons I doubted the so-called truth, pitting my spirits up against everything I never wanted to lose".

Don't lose out on listening to this this new upbeat heavy rock track, available everywhere!

The Bigger Picture Drops Solid Single "Empires" & New EP

The London rock group The Bigger Picture have released their upbeat, synth and guitar-heavy track "Empires" as the last single off their new EP A Ghost & A Wish. The band recently played live again at Fiddler's Elbow with acts including Sonic Property and Caper, and are excited to finally release their new EP this weekend with producer Matteo Galesi (Frank Mada, Omahrose, Tarantola, etc).

The single "Empires" follows "Bullets Little Thoughts" and continues the band's trajectory towards a very approachable, energetic rock sound with massive appeal.  The track opens with an arpeggiated synth akin to perhaps the intro to the Stranger Things TV show, then drops into a flurry of all instruments in their full glory led by soaring guitar leads.

The chorus really exemplifies the dueling vocalists synergy with soaring, sing-a-long harmonies like "teach me how to feel alive". Overall, "Empires" has great dynamic range with softer passages allowing the synth production to really shine, but balances this with the uplifting chorus hooks and powerful guitar riffs.

The band also worked with Bohemian Basterds to produce a music video for the single which fans of alternative/arena rock should check out!
